The studio

The studio: the kiln and a trolley of plates.

Púcaro is a small ceramics studio in Porto. We make mugs and plates for everyday use, and we teach the same work in our weekly classes.

The room has six wheels, two long tables and one electric kiln.

Clay and firing

We work in stoneware. Every piece is fired twice: once to harden it, then again with glaze at about 1,240 °C.
