Weekly classes for adults
Two classes, each once a week for two hours, with up to six people. You pay by the month: €80 for four classes, with clay, glazes, firing and taxes included.
Classes are taught in English and Portuguese.
Hand-building
- What you learn
- Pinch pots, coils and slabs, then decorating and glazing what you make.
- Who it is for
- Beginners. No experience needed.
- When
- Tuesdays, 18:30-20:30
- Saturdays, 10:30-12:30

Wheel throwing
- What you learn
- Centring, pulling walls, trimming and attaching handles.
- Who it is for
- Beginners and people who have thrown before. Everyone works at their own pace in the same group.
- When
- Thursdays, 18:30-20:30
- Saturdays, 14:30-16:30

€80 a month, 4 classes

How it works
- You sign up one month at a time. A month is four classes.
- If you miss a class, you can make it up at the other time of the same class in that month.
- Pieces dry and are fired twice, so you take finished work home about three weeks after you make it.
- Each group has at most six people.
Questions
- Do I need experience?
- No. Both classes start from the basics.
- What should I wear?
- Clothes that can get dirty. Short nails help on the wheel.
- Which language are classes in?
- English and Portuguese. Tell us which you prefer when you write.
- Can I take my pieces home?
- Yes. What you make is yours once it has been fired.
